Senior Principal
Mike Filkoski, a senior principal in the Assurance Group at GHP Horwath, has more than 25 years of experience in audit, attestation, and consulting services with extensive experience in initial public offerings, mergers and acquisitions, and SEC compliance and reporting. As a Certified Public Accountant registered in Colorado, he has worked for companies in various stages of development — private and public — and in diverse industries including technology, manufacturing, distribution, hospitality and leisure, service organizations, and not-for-profit. He has handled everything from external audits, reviews and compilations to SEC reporting, merger and acquisitions to risk management, Sarbanes-Oxley 404 compliance services and international assistance. In addition, Mike has developed and taught a series of professional accounting and auditing seminars and training courses at the national level.
Mike has worked at GHP Horwath since 1990, and before that was a senior manager in the audit department of Laventhol & Horwath, a predecessor firm to GHP Horwath. He holds a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Northern Colorado.
