Marketing Assistant
The marketing assistant will be responsible for:
- Assisting the Marketing Director with the planning and implementation of all firm marketing initiatives including research, database management, direct mail campaigns, creation of newsletters, website updates, event planning and much more;
- Interacting with other firm executives to ensure communication and implementation of a wide variety of firm initiatives
- Back-up support of the administration team including filing, answering phones, and other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- BS or BA in Business (or equivalent work experience)
- Pleasant, poised, confident working attitude
- Excellent writing, editing and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional phone skills
- Strong proficiency in MS Outlook and Word; PowerPoint & Publisher a plus
- Outstanding Internet research abilities
- Must be detail oriented and excel at managing multiple tasks simultaneously
- Previous law or accounting firm experience a plus.
Additional Desired Skills:
- Proficiency in PowerPoint and Publisher
- Contact management database experience; particularly ACT database
- Graphic design experience – Adobe PageMaker PC preferred
Some overtime might be necessary, professional attire, Monday thru Friday 8:00 am to 5:00pm.
Graphic Design Intern The graphic design intern will be responsible for:
- Support the marketing director with implementation of a new brand utilizing a brand standards manual,
- Assist with the development of new ad campaign
- Creation of new marketing materials including full-page brochure, tri-fold brochure, product sheets, and more
- Assist with the writing and editing of copy for new materials and proposals
- Other marketing duties as assigned
Experience Required:
- Proficient in Adobe PageMaker or Publisher a MUST
- All Microsoft Office applications
- Pleasant, poised, confident working attitude
- Excellent writing, editing and verbal communication skills
- Must be detail oriented, motivated and independent
Average of 24 hours a week for five to seven months, flexible hours Monday thru Friday 8:30 am to 5:00pm, professional attire. |
